PTG Partnership
After using Primavera P6 Pro as a standalone scheduling solution, Newfield partnered with PTG to transition to Oracle Primavera Cloud. In February 2025, Newfield purchased 20 Oracle Primavera Cloud Schedule licenses to begin their implementation process.
Oracle Primavera Cloud Implementation
PTG began Oracle Primavera Cloud Enablement in May 2025. Over a 23-week period, Newfield's team completed 34 hours of hands-on Oracle Primavera Cloud training, which covered platform navigation, scheduling, baseline development, updating, and introductory risk and task management. The project successfully transitioned the organization from P6 Professional to Oracle Primavera Cloud, with a Go-Live occurring on January 23, 2026.
Training & Continued Success
Following a successful implementation, Newfield renewed its Oracle Primavera Cloud subscription for an additional two years, with ongoing Sharpen the Saw® sessions supporting continued learning and long-term platform adoption.
