Outside Sales Representative
Minimum Education Requirements: B.A. or B.S. Degree
PTG is expanding our sales force and looking for an Outside Sales Representative to reach corporations and public agencies in the New England market. This is an outside sales position dedicated to selling the Primavera Systems Inc. suite of applications. The successful Outside Sales Representative will grow assigned territories by prospecting for new business through telephone marketing and outside sales activities such as cold calling, presentations, and public seminars.

Project Scheduler
Minimum Education Requirements: B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
The project scheduler builds detailed schedules from plans and specifications. The plans and specs could be provided for scheduling during the 90% design phase, or at any stage up to the final bid documents. The scheduler interprets the plans and specs into a sequence of work with all of the necessary relationships between construction activities. Once the baseline schedule has been established, the scheduler provides schedule updates. This may involve checking a schedule updated by another party for accurate dates and logic. The scheduler writes narratives which provide reasons for any changes to the schedule as it is updated. Delays are analyzed and categorized, and subsequently explained in reports. The scheduler attends project status meetings to discuss updates and schedule changes. The scheduler also documents the project status meetings for reference. The scheduler spends most of his/her time in Primavera P3® 3.1, Engineering and Construction® 4.1 or Microsoft Project® 2002 or 2003.

Schedule Analyst
Minimum Education Requirements: B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

The schedule analyst determines flaws or logic issues in schedules. Time impact analysis is the main effort for the analyst as he/she reviews past delays and makes determinations about their causes. This person is the detective of the scheduling industry, researching each clue to compile an overall picture of project performance. The schedule analysts spends most of their time in Primavera P3® and Engineering and Construction® using comparison tools like Digger®.

Project Controller / Project Controls Engineer / Project Controls Manager
Minimum Education Requirements: B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

The Project Controls Engineer (PCE) assists the Project Manager in developing standards for project management. The PCE duties include: Executing the project; Managing issues; Reporting on overall progress of work; and Budget control. The PCE is adept at utilizing scheduling and document control applications including: Primavera Expedition®, Primavera P3® 3.1, Engineering and Construction® 4.1 or Microsoft Project® 2002 or 2003, Microsoft Excel®
